Norma Palmer-Watson grew up in Millfield. Her parents were one of the first interracial marriages in the city. Norma's brother was also legendary blues musician Lloyd Watson, who sadly passed in 2019. In her interview, Norma talks about many memories of the area, stories of communities getting to know each other, overcoming difference, her brother's musical career, and the changes to the area she's seen over the last fifty years, from watching neighbours dancing in the street while her brother's band rehearsed, to getting married at Millfield Congregational Church on her 50th birthday.
