I was playing around with my toy piano, and came up with a very simple melody that I thought to try layering things on top of. As you'll be able to hear, this was before I figured out how to use the very helpful metronome feature. First I added a simple accompaniment on a multicoloured wooden toy glockenspiel thing. Then I added a harmony with more toy piano. Next, I grabbed my musical saw (thanks to my brother for gifting it to me!) and tried out some long flowy lines on it. Then a bit of rough percussion tapping on a box and toy tambourine. Voila-- my first multi-tracked tune.
