Supersaw Comparison by UltimateOutsider published on 2014-04-02T18:18:37Z This is a comparison of basic, single-oscillator supersaw patches I made on a variety of synths. The goal was to find which one works the most like the Virus hypersaw oscillator. The goal was NOT to make the most awesome supersaw possible on the given synth. In every case I only used a small set of synth parameters and features: 1 oscillator, 1 filter (12db LP), and any voicing/unison/detune settings available. No synth modulation or effects are used; all examples are running through the same 3rd party delay and reverb. Filter cutoff is automated from the DAW.
