Cronicals by Ullip

This album has a special back story. In the first phase of the pandemic in 2020, Steven and I were prevented from carrying out our work in one room by the exit restrictions and mobility restrictions. So we realised it via the internet. The common thread of this album is the history and legends of our area in Andalusia, where we live. This is how we realised our visions and feelings about the individual places. The unusual mixture of percussion and trumpet has made a great range of interpretations possible.
On the one hand, this album combines my decades of experience in free improvisation with the equally long experience of the orchestra musician Steven Craven. The balancing act could not be greater. Unusual times bring new unknown paths and results. We hope you will join us on our journey through the enchanting magical landscape around Periana in Andalusia.
