ULAN BATOR Ulan Bator is a French Avant-Rock band formed in Paris in 1994. The band's early work, including their debut album, 2° and Végétale, established their sound, which blends elements of post-rock, krautrock, and experimental music. A key moment in their career came with the album Ego:Echo, produced by Michael Gira of Swans. Ulan Bator has collaborated with several notable musicians throughout their career. Nouvel Air was mixed by Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins, and James Johnston of Gallon Drunk and PJ Harvey has also worked with the band.
