TYRLL Niels De Vlieger Gullegem Niels de Vlieger, a.k.a. TYRLL (pronounced as “TAAIRELL”), is a 32-year-old DJ from Kortrijk (BE) who wants to share his passion for house and disco. He has been behind the decks since he was 16 and over the years has developed a unique 'funky' sound. A typical TYRLL set consists of house music with alot of disco influences and many lesser-known funky tracks. His bold and unconventional track choices earned him the win at Lotto Late Night (2016), where he got to open the AB Club in Brussels (BE) for Feder and Compuphonic. In July 2017, he won the Tomorrowland DJ Contest by Studio Brussel, which earned him a spot in the line-up of the Tomorrowland opening party, The Gathering. TYRLL has played as the opening act for Faithless on 'The Ark' and performed at quite some cool clubs in Europe. His single 'Tell Me What To Do' was released on N.E.W.S. Records, made it to the Studio Brussel radio playlist, and was also featured on the 'Studio Ibiza' CD compilation. He then released the track 'Linga', which was part of the 'Belgian Chocolate EP' on the 'Melodymathics' label. TYRLL produced also the tracks “H.A.F.” and “remarkable” for his good friend and rapper ‘Vinnie Nelson’. Additionally, Niels has his own label, 'FUNKSTAR RECORDS', where his first single 'Different' will be available from July 12 2024.
