Stuck by TV FACE published on 2023-06-04T18:56:08Z The band called TV FACE are a post-punk/noise-rock band from Lancaster (UK). Expect weird guitar combined with a tight and heavy rhythm section, laced with deranged yet tuneful boy-girl vocals. A classic three-piece, they have been compared to Braniac, McClusky, Minutemen, and Pixies. The band called TV FACE’s debut album Tide of Men releases in September 2023 on Crackedankles Records, home to Evil Blizzard, Thank, Hot Wax and more. The self-produced album recorded partly in an old church, and partly in a bungalow in rural Lancashire, is mastered by Pete Maher (White Stripes, Pixies). Their songs rage at the expectation that we should put a brave face on while we’re being kept out, pushed down and held under; each song a short, sharp clap back to the keep-calm-and-carry-on-gang. Gloriously, riotously, unashamedly angry, with a dash of indignation, and a soupçon of incredulity. Genre Noise rock
