Poetry Tracks by Trimukhi Platform

During Covid-19 lockdown, Trimukhi Platform has invited 37 artists and writers all over the World to collaborate on composing « Poetical Capsules » or Poetry Tracks. The dynamic has been simple and concrete: invite a writer locked down somewhere, either in a city or in a village, to edit a poetical text; then work with actors and actrices also confined, in another country, another continent, on an accurate reading of the text; then send the recordings (in English, in French, in Bengali) to a sound artist, maybe in another continent, so for him or her to continue composing the piece. Make everybody interact sharing a diversity of ideas and suggestions. Finally, once ready, upload the track and enrich the Poetical Capsule series. La dynamique a été simple, concrète : proposez à un(e) écrivain, confiné(e) dans une ville ou dans un village, de mettre en forme un texte ; travaillez ensuite avec des comédien(ne)s, confiné(e)s aussi mais ailleurs, à la lecture de ce texte ; puis faites parvenir les enregistrements (en français, anglais, bengali) à un(e) créateur(rice) sonore, confiné(e) dans un autre pays encore, un autre continent peut-être, et qui va alors poursuivre la composition. Conviez tous ces mondes à converser et à enrichir de leur diversité le travail en cours. Enfin, quand c’est prêt, ajoutez à la série en ligne la capsule poétique qui vient de voir le jour.
