Tony Bonfils Tony Bonfils Argenteuil « New standards » We are proud to present you the job of a French team of artists. These demos of 12 songs where initiated by Gilbert Viatgé (conductor of the stage band of Lido de Paris / Champs Élysées) and Tony Bonfils (singer and bass player in the same band). The idea is to make you discover 12 short stories with original Lyrics & Music, built like the great standards of years 40/50 including four female versions, four male ones and four duets. The musical environment is a classical smooth-jazz trio with light solos of several instruments (violin, trombone, sax, clarinet, accordion, guitar). Ten of them are in English, one in French and one in Italian. As far as English became the international language, it looks natural to use it even for non natives and more of all it deserves communication. Those pieces, thus protected by the French authors society SACEM, are available for any use you would like to develop (sing on stage, make instrumental version, record, adapt in your native tongue...)
