It got to a point where everyday I was becoming sadder and sadder due to the daily reports of black people being killed by white police officers who have little to no respect for my culture as HUMAN BEINGS. I saw how we are very much still and have always been viewed at a much lower level than our Caucasian counterparts. Protest, looting, burning of buildings, white privilege, swayed views, propaganda, etc... It was all for the world to see everyday and it hit me hard.
