The Rewind Lincoln The Rewind is a Nebraska-based hard rock band that blends a number of influences into their unique sound, which has been described as modern rock 'n roll with a classic twist. Formed in 2012, The Rewind have had the great honor of sharing the stage with such acts as Saving Abel, Black Oak Arkansas, Smile Empty Soul, Preacher Stone, and Burn Halo. In 2013, under the name Closed For Repairs, the band released their first EP, "Play It Loud!" which garnered positive reviews from Tom Petty, Peter Frampton, and members of Cheap Trick. Currently, The Rewind is writing and preparing for more studio time in an effort to record a full-length album, which is tentatively scheduled for release in late 2017. In addition to playing regular shows, the band has performed at the Nebraska State Fair, Lincoln Exposed, and Lincoln Calling. The Rewind is committed to providing every audience with an authentic rock experience at their live shows and the band members are continually writing new music to keep the setlists at shows diverse and fresh.
