Lost-Data

Lost Data was formed in the winter of 2008-2009 by Benjamin D’Amico and Etienne Jeanne. Longtime friends from radically different musical backgrounds, both shared a passion for new technologies and music production. They began experimenting with various sound materials, blending acoustic, synthetic, and sampled elements, drawing from their respective influences. It soon became evident that they were embarking on an exciting new project: Lost Data.

After a year of studio work for various artists and communication agencies, including Proximity BBDO and Barrera Prod, where they created original music for TV commercials and worked on arranging, recording, and mixing diverse musical projects, they finally hit the road. In the summer of 2009, Lost Data performed live in France and Asia.

Since then, Lost Data has been involved in numerous collaborations both in the studio and on stage, performing at venues such as LOgO Club, Lune, YYT Yuyintang, Shelter in Shanghai, and Le Gambetta and La Frégate in Paris. They have collaborated with artists like Maxime Lenik (Xeum), Lin Di (Cold Fairy Land), Jeremy Lasry (Wayne’s Basement, Cold Fairyland), and remixed Sanne Gottlieb’s (EMI) song “Jump off the Roof,” along with Xeum and Emrah Celik.
