Here’s an interesting article from the legal perspective about this not-so-fictional short story: https://review.law.stanford.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2016/08/64-SLRO-117.pdf 2018-09-05T18:34:55Z Comment by Eye on Philosophy I wanted to tell you John, how much this story struck a chord with me. Your books were meditative for me when I was going through my numerous medical conditions. I had two liver transplants my first at ten months old in 1995. The way you talked about the parents, I could feel my own parents grief and fear. The triumph of his life, I found to experience too. You have done amazing work and I am so glad you shared such a beautiful story! 2018-08-28T11:30:53Z Comment by Wostershire i realise this might make me extra googlable, but that story hit me deep and i shed a tear 2018-08-15T22:14:16Z Comment by Raphael Swift I have almost 100% weeds... After hearing it I just stopped for a while and thought to myself about for a long time, and to my amazement, hearing this story just made me feel so much better and more hopeful about things. It made me so lucky to be alive, and so grateful for the things we have, even the ones that we find most aggravating. 2018-05-06T20:18:00Z Comment by anntoome This is amazing, even though or espescially because the hospital story messed me up.
