Walking Benny by Taylor Adams published on 2020-03-28T22:49:59Z On Thanksgiving weekend 2019, I was tasked with house/dog sitting in an empty house for 3 days with nothing to do but write and record songs, and walk the dog (Benny) three to four times a day. “The enemy of art is the absence of limitations.” With nothing but my guitar, one microphone, a volca beats drum machine, and random household objects, (Other instruments were supplemented in later) I just started going wherever the creative winds took me. The point of this weekend and these songs wasn't to make something extremely polished, or even to make something good, but it was to spend the entire weekend recording as much content as possible, and just to have fun doing it. And it was fun. And it turned into this.
