TANK Mix: Petra Hermanova by Tank Magazine

Drawing inspiration from folk, medieval drone and Appalachian autoharp music, this week's TANK Mix comes from Berlin-based artist Petra Hermanova. She said of her mix: “This mix explores atmospheres adjacent to my debut album In Death's Eyes, moving across several sonic territories: folk, drone, metal, organ works and pieces written for the voice. Importantly, it also features several works by five different autoharp instrumentalists, whom I've chosen for their significance in the autoharp community, which in itself remains rather undiscovered by the wider public.”

In Death’s Eyes was released in October 2023 on Unguarded.
