7 - 4 - 20 Zoom Class: Differentiation and Integration by Susan Koenig published on 2020-07-07T19:34:30Z To have well coordinated movements with arms and legs, you need to have the muscular support and integration through the trunk. The trunk includes the spine, rib cage, somatic center, and pelvis. Sometimes you have to clarify/differentiate a specific movement of, for example, the hip or the shoulder blade and then integrate that movement with the trunk. Sometimes you have to clarify/differentiate a trunk movement in order for the trunk and limb to be integrated. In this class we toggle between clarifying specific movements of the hip and shoulder girdle and then integrating these movements with movements of the trunk.
