Subversia Subversia The Infinite Void A veteran of the UK freeparty scene, Subversia has been involved with electronic music since the 90s. Initially from a background of industrial metal, it was the attitude and energy of drum & bass that fuelled the formation of Somatek and the notorious Underdog Soundsystem. Subsequent forays into breakbeat techno ultimately led to some early dubstep experiments under the banner of Mutant Dog. Rebooted and reinvented, Subversia now draws from influences across the spectrum to create a distinctive hybrid sound, contrasting deep melodies and emotive synths against heavy-hitting beats and an onslaught of bass.
