Home Sweet Home by Stuart Evans Music published on 2017-05-26T22:10:43Z Unity is the brand new album from up and coming artist Stuart Evans. Hailing from the UK, Stuart has spent the past few years working and collaborating with some of the UK's finest emerging musicians, doing both compositional and session work around the country. Primarily starting his career in music playing pubs and clubs, Stuart quickly rose to being one of the south east's most sought after guitarists, regularly performing at different festivals and music events locally and nationally. He is recognised for having a great ability to transform others' musical ideas into real, professionally arranged pieces. Stuart draws his influence from a Blues / Jazz background - but also pulls influences from Country, Funk, Rock, Folk and celtic styles of music, keeping true to his idea that the best music comes from inspiration. Unity as an album, is a small compilation of work which shows the before and after of each song. He starts with a raw acoustic idea, composing parts around it; to then it becoming the final, far more developed versions - showing the breadth of Stuart's songwriting capabilities. All the parts are musically directed and created by him; then recorded using some of the finest musicians he knows. Featuring James Chapman (Drums) who plays regularly up and down the country with professional function bands and headlining festivals, Nigel Ross-Scott (Bass) - whose work extends from touring with Sting, playing for Dexys Midnight Runners and co-writing the song 'Politics of Dancing' with Reflex. Also featured on the album is Caroline Stead (Cello/Flute) who is a prolific musician in her own right - being a long standing member of the Paul Dunton Orchestra and finally Mischa Bray (Violin), whose folky tonality has such a way with bringing out heartfelt emotions; best known for his work with The Orange Circus Genre Folk & Singer-Songwriter
