It is the sonic alter ego of producer, DJ, and composer Yariv Etzion, an artist driven by emotionally charged melodies, cinematic atmospheres, and immersive storytelling.
Rooted in progressive house, techno, breakbeats, and electronica, Stereo Underground’s sound bridges the cerebral and the visceral. Analog warmth meets forward-thinking production, creating music that resonates as much on the dancefloor as it does in introspective listening spaces. His productions unfold slowly and deliberately, designed to evoke feeling rather than chase trends.
Over the years, Stereo Underground has released critically acclaimed music on respected labels such as LMOE, Lost & Found, Global Underground, Selador, Vapour, Sudbeat, Einmusika, Balance, and more. His work supported by electronic music icons including Hernán Cattáneo, Guy J, Patrice Baumel,Deep Dish, Dubfire, Sasha, and John Digweed.
In 2019, he released his debut full-length album The Art of Silence, a milestone project praised for its rich narrative flow and genre-blurring sound design. The album marked a defining moment in his artistic evolution, showcasing a mature and deeply personal approach to composition and atmosphere.
Most recently, Stereo Underground reached Number 1 on the Beatport Progressive House chart with both Dolby and Above The Clouds, further solidifying his position as a defining force in modern electronic music.
As a performer, Stereo Underground is known for deeply engaging DJ sets that unfold like carefully crafted narratives. Playing 95% his own original music & remixes, Stereo is Moving fluidly from introspective textures to euphoric peaks, his performances captivate audiences across continents and have earned him a place in some of the world’s most respected clubs and festivals.
Beyond the stage, Yariv is also an entrepreneur, He is the founder of BPM College, one of the leading institutions for sound and music production, and the Co-founder of MUZA, a groundbreaking collaborative platform empowering producers to connect, create, and grow together. His commitment to community, education, and innovation is woven into every aspect of his work, both on and off the dancefloor.
