Liza Colby Band - Oh Baby (STacked mix for GearfestPuremixContest) by STack Sound

For this mix my inspiration for the tones was "Epic Concert Sound", basically what I try for at every gig I engineer. Keeping this in mind I tried to keep it sounding natural, but HUGE, and high-energy.
I decided to work with, and accentuate the dynamics that the band laid down while recording; starting the first verse a little extra soft and riding the roller-coaster up and down the choruses, gaining energy along the way, until the crescendo at the end (where things get a touch crazy sonically).

Techniques:
New York style compression on drums, and gently on master
Track doubling for:
Frequency split to make a HighHat mic from the snare mic bleed
Panned echo response on electric guitar
Mid/Side de-matrix on overheads with processing pre and post
