Acclaimed techno, dub and atmospheric craftsmen Voices From the Lake, aka Italians Donato Dozzy and Neel, are starting their own new label, Spazio Disponible.

The label will start with a release from Voices From The Lake in March 2016, then a solo EP from Dozzy in May, but will be about much more than just putting out 12"s: it is a conceptual idea that will see friends of the duo release music, but will also be accompanied by a quarterly party at Goa in Rome. The first one will be March 18th where Donato and Giuseppe will play all night long with a close musical friend.

More than that, though, the artists playing will be in the studio the whole week running up to the night, jamming and preparing music for the night and potentially producing a record that will later be put out on the label. The setup at Goa will be a hybrid of machines, live gear and DJ equipment that will allow for fluid transitions between each as the party unfolds. Essentially each event will be one big jam that features artists joining in and dipping out at will. Line-ups won't be announced for any of the nights, with the whole thing paying heed of the title, Spazio Disponibile.

As for the first release, it features three tracks of absorbing and hypnotic deep techno that sucks you deep down into an organic world of super smooth sound. Subtly filled in with pixel thin synths, trance inducing bleeps or spaced out pads, it offers a fine taster of what to expect from Spazio Disponibile both on record and in the club.
