WELCOME TO THE STEINBERG SONGWRITING PORTFOLIO ON SOUNDCLOUD

I'm a songwriter and occasional performer headquartered at www.lyricist.net who writes heartfelt songs about things...exploring subjects in song form. Some of my works take on another persona -- a carnival huckster, an abused woman, a scam artist, the father of a missing child -- in order to explore an alternative point of view. Others pay tribute to historical figures or events: The Voyager spacecraft, the Los Angeles riots, the fall of the Berlin Wall. And a bunch of songs exploring love in all its facets. I have a degree in Musical Theatre Writing (specializing as a lyricist and some time bookwriter) and have participated in various renowned musical theatre workshops in New York and Chicago.
