“Matt FX is a DJ, record producer, and TV/Food Personality born and raised in NYC. He is known for his work as the music supervisor for former hit TV show BROAD CITY, his on-screen appearances on the Food Network and Vice News, as well as for releases on Wolf + Lamb, Kitsuné, Sorry Records, House of Feelings, and Toucan Sounds. Matt is also a co-founder of the pandemic pop-up test kitchen DUBPLATE.NYC, home of ‘the best fried chicken sandwich of all time.’

'The Marcy Mix is a mix inspired by a place as much as it is anything else: The Marcy North, a mythical Williamsburg loft that has occasionally played host to parties by the extended Crew Love Records family. The first time I visited the Marcy I immediately fell deeply in love with the people, energy, and vibe of the space, and for 6 long years I waited patiently for the perfect reason to throw something there myself. This mix is a re-recording of the set I performed there at the 30th birthday edition of my 'Matt FX & Friends' party this past February 4th, alongside a lineup that included special guests Starchild & The New Romantic, Sunny Cheeba, and Thugfucker. To tell the truth, that party might have been one of the last to ever get thrown there, and for that opportunity I am forever grateful.'

Matt is currently spending the month of May eating and DJing his way through Mexico City and will be back stateside in June, with a slew of dates in the cal including a headlining spot in the loft at Elsewhere for Bubble_T's Pride takeover, a set in partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival at Baby's All Right, and the return of his and Veblen Defect's 'Big Bloops' party at Black Flamingo alongside Dio George and A La Agata of Acid Mama.”
