There is no Limits! by Sigure

When I started producing music, I always wanted to create a project entirely in chiptune. I grew up playing NES, so I’ve always had a special affection for this genre. But my main inspiration for this EP was the game Tower of Heaven — the OST of that game is surreal.

So I always wanted to make something similar, using a melodic theme as the foundation for most of the tracks on the EP, just like many indie game soundtracks do nowadays. The melody in question comes from the song Meikyo Shisui from my first album Runnaway. To this day, I still think it’s the most beautiful melody I’ve ever written.

Anyway, I’m really happy with how this EP turned out. I had to learn a new DAW — FamiStudio, for those who are curious — and with the limitations of chiptune, I believe I’ve matured the overall level of my productions. I’m really excited about my upcoming projects.
