Abladei Track 15 by Sigauque Project

Recorded by Daniel Walter in Ghana 2002, Abladei is unique band from a
different era. The driving rhythms combine kpanlogo and goombay drums,
brought to Ghana by colonial troops in 1800s from Jamaica, with the highlife
instrument of choice - the electrical guitar. The resulting is a band that
brings together a lot of elements of the best in Ghanaian music.

In addition to broadcast training and social programming, CMFD has its part
of its mission to record and preserve local traditional music.
