For an hour of the KCR takeover of Shared Frequencies Radio for SXSW, we invite you to listen in on an unreleased interview with one of the gems of the Pakistan indie music scene - Natasha Noorani.

Known best for her chart-topping hits ‘Baby’, ‘Choro’ and ‘Faltu Pyaar’, Natasha has been a trailblazer in Pakistan's indie music scene, and has worked tirelessly to develop the scene and, she puts it, ‘figure out a magic ecosystem for Pakistani music to thrive’.

Apart from being a prominent singer/song-writer, Natasha is an ethnomusicologist and has worked on archiving Postcolonial Pakistani Music in a project titled ‘Peshkash’. She has also held the position of General Manager at the renowned Coke Studio Pakistan (at the age of 25!) and is part of the duo behind Lahore Music Meet festival, which she describes as a space where one can ‘live out the dream of a perfect Pakistani music industry for 2 days in a year’.
