SIDE 1: LESSON 80s – JIGZAW & DJ RANSOM
An homage to the great Double D and Steinski whose work has never not been an inspiration. From it's inception in the early 80s to the plethora of 90s bootlegs to the year 2000—when this Lesson was made—to the present day. The 80s theme reflects not only the era in which the original lessons were made, but also the formative years of music appreciation for the then young Jigzaw and Ransom. Their first meeting in 1986 when Ransom travelled from Melbourne to Brisbane has led to nearly 40 years of friendship and record-related nonsense. As is standard with Sedgwick releases there are bonus beats and cuts and this particular side has skip proof cutting tools as well.
