SEB FAUTEUX, owner and resident DJ of the late Bleury Vinyl Bar, loves music in the broadest sense. Staple of the Montreal House scene, he enjoys an unconditional love for disco, soul, boogie and afrobeat. Excellent digger, he always carries his records which can be techno-infused, dreamy or trippy.
He worked for nearly 10 years as a DJ and promoter of the Fizz Factory and Beat
Boutique nights at the Salon Daomé club in Montreal. He was also the programmer and assistant manager of this legendary venue on Mont-Royal avenue.
In addition, his vinyl bar production company works in collaboration with Music is My Sanctuary to produce the 24 Hours of Vinyl events during the Montreal Nuit Blanche at the Agora De La Danse space.
He appeared several times at the famous Piknic Électronik as well as at the Igloofest Winter Festival where he had the chance to produce the official podcast for the 2012 edition. His duo with Nico Sé named BAVSS aka Vinyl Bar Soundsystem is a also must for all music heads.
In recent years, working with multidisciplinary artist Constantin Monfilliette, he hascreated a collective called La Java which organizes monthly electronic music
evenings in Saguenay.
He has shared the decks with several international artists like Motor City Drum Ensemble, The Black Madonna, Dj Sneak, Tim Sweeney, Mister Saturday Night, Floating Points, Session Victim, Dj Sprinkles, Dane, Khotin, Efdemin, Pender Street Steppers, The Mole , Vincent Lemieux, Lexis, Iron Curtis, Paul Ritch, Till Von Sein, Fred Everything, Phonique, Vincenzo, Thomas Fehlmann, Damian Lazarus, Prosumer, Konrad Black, Eddie C, Stimming, Shur-I-Kan, Tigerskin, Lee Jones, Trus'me, Will Saul, Quantic, Jeremy Ellis, Justin Long, Catz'N'Dogz, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Rick Wade, Ian Pooley, Dj Jus-ED, Dirt Crew, The Timewriter, etc.
