Her sound and heart are set on genres such as; House, techno, and electronic and she draws inspiration from the sounds and clubs of (underground) Berlin. SCHAARUP’s sets are stories told by her melodic and dark sound melted together with magical vocals and mesmerizing rhythms. Her big passion is DJ’ing and to bring people into her Universe by touching their hearts and move their feet. Aside from DJ’ing, SCHAARUP is also a producer and has released a track on Emotive Sounds and made remixes of Lucy Love, Mendoza, and Penny Police among others Her skills have brought her all the way from small bars in Copenhagen to Roskilde Festival, big clubs, private and cooperate events like Facebook’s, fashion shows and some of the main stages within the industry She has traveled and played in Berlin, Hamborg, Sweden and Norway, and has been on lineup with artists like Magit Cacoon, Djuma Soundsystem, Rey&Kjavik, Stimming, Marius Lehnert, Move D, Nastia, among others. In addition to being immersed in her DJ jobs, SCHAARUP has created her own party concept, HOUSEFRAU, which she tours with in different nightclubs and venues. HOUSEFRAU hire Female DJs from all over Europe, with an appetite for house and techno, to bring focus to the talents of the electronic segment of the music industry.
