My debut single as a singer-songwriter, ‘Ancestors’ is about reconnecting with your roots, searching for meaning, and wondering whether it’s possible that the deep rooted feelings we experience now are a remnant of generations past. Being first generation Irish, in recent times I’ve begun to feel a strong kinship with my heritage, which has converged with my Cornish upbringing.
