A Sidecar Named Desire by Russell Moore published on 2017-03-03T17:19:11Z A new (2017) recording of the old Five Mile High song, 'Sidecar' was a great favourite but one that I didn't think we ever quite got right. This new version sees me using the latest home-recording toys to recreate the band I always thought we were aiming to be all those 25 or thereabouts years ago... It's loosely about some kind of secret agent or ex-pat tourist (I'd always imagined somewhere in post-WWII France or something) finding that he's in the wrong place at the wrong time and needing to get out of Dodge quickly - but really it was just about writing a song around the pun of the title.
