How did Ukrainian synth-pop/italo sound before and at the beginning of our independence?

This is the typical "cassette" sound of the "Студія Лева", synthesizer experiments that dated back to Soviet times. Bands and artists who filled large halls, shot videos for the first Ukrainian hit parade, as well as lesser-known representatives who left their mark on the electro-pop scene of the early to mid-1990s.
