RoyalThaGreat Cory Syms Chicago Royal Tha Great was born in Harlem, NY. At age 2 he moved to Chicago, IL where he learned from the gritty streets that either you’re a pimp, gangsta, or dead or in jail by the time your 18. He survived but not before learning valuable lessons that those cold streets teach. Affiliated with the Gangsta Disciple Nation he was involved in everything from selling weed to breaking into homes, to even heated battles with rival gangs. In a city where Hip hop was not looked upon by the mainstream, he grew up listening to the likes of 2Pace, Nas, Jay-Z, and later Rick Ross & Young Jeezy.
