Roxane Lebrasse

The Mauritian born diva is the granddaughter to the legendary Sega Pioneer, Serge Lebrasse. Continuing the family legacy in Australia, at the young age of 16, Roxane was scouted by Sydney funksters The Rockmelons to Feature in the single, “ I Aint Playing”, and also three other tracks for the album Rock Melons 3.
In 2005, Roxane made an appearance on TV show Australian Idol, where she gave some endearing and powerful renditions of classic songs, soon earning her thousands of adoring fans throughout Austral-Asia. She eventually ended the show at a highly impressive eighth place and unveiling herself as a lucrative signing talent.
Residing in Sydney and utilizing her exposure as a strong competitor in Australian Idol (season 3), Roxane launched herself into the professional arena, working alongside such renowned artists as Jimmy Barnes, Roachford, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, Rahsaan Patterson, Deni Hines, Blackstreet, Jade Macrae, Jeremy Gregory, Kaylan , Mr Timothy, Andy Vann and Tony Vass, Bardot, Delta Goodrem, Inaya Day, Christian Alexander, Chris Luder, and Sydney house act Ultraphonic, where she featured on the single “Keep It Right There” released through Ministry of Sound in 2006.
In 2007 Roxane released her own single “Sexy” through Universal Music. The single raise her profile in the Australian & New Zealand entertainment industry with high rotation on the radio, and performances on MTV, Kerry Anne, Sunrise, Nickelodeon and other media outlets. She also became the Ambassador for teen fashion giant Supre.
In 2010 Roxane breaks into the London dance scene with single “Fly Me Higher” produced by DJ Tony Vass. She is also working on other dance projects as a featured artist. Roxane continues to perform regularly in venues in throughout Australia and Internationally.
2012 brings big things for Roxane, setting up her new singing/talent school "The Boutique" www.theboutiquemusic.com and collaborating with fresh new artists such as Vice Verser, Veena Rao and Chris Luder to release her long awaited solo album.
Although her unique voice suits many genres of music, Roxane’s first love is r&b/soul and aside of being the Creator of The Starlettes www.thestarlettes.net, she is currently putting together a collaboration of songs to form her first original album and performing live with her new band Love Jonez www.lovejonezmusic.com
