Dr. V. believed that further investigation
into the secrets
of the dialectics
that he often experienced at night
would allow him a path
through the channel
between form and function.

The technology at use
was difficult for us to imagine
but would soon be discovered.

Dr. V attempted to find a synthesis
between the appearances of events (the form)
and their place in a context,
their relationship to other events (function).
Then a devastating earthquake struck.

A more detailed study over time
found that functional analyses
as encountered in philosophy
were of a strange creative nature.

The study then focused
on the superficial appearances
and found the surface
to be perfectly smooth.

Dr. became lost
in a myriad functional analyses.
Anyone else lost with him
was eventually covered
in debris and algae.
