Maybe it's the modern horrors we face nowadays, and the chilling silence that comes at night, and the implications that come with it as well, that make the silence that much more unbearable. Maybe it's the fact of how our everyday lives now feel like they lack the beauty of the small things, as this age of social dissent, hatred amongst one another, and despairing thoughts makes the nights all that much more restless. An age where wonder, and a joyful meal between traveling strangers of fantastical, if not far-fetched stories simply no longer exists.
