An Alpine James Bond Experience (Alphorn in F + Piano) by Rainer Bartesch - Alphorn

In der Komposition "An Alpine James Bond Experience" für Alphorn und Klavier habe ich augenzwinkernd zwei denkbar weit voneinander entfernte Welten zusammengebracht, die des Alphorns und die von James Bond. Der Alphornpart ist recht anspruchsvoll zu spielen, wobei ich alternativ zum heiklen Triller auf dem hohen F# noch eine alternative Melodieführung geschrieben habe ....

In "An Alpine James Bond Experience" I wanted to guide the alphorn into the adventurous world of James Bond. By undertaking this challenge I myself felt like a kind of James Bond since I had to stick strictly to the few tones of the alphorn overtone scale, including just a single halftone interval whereas the typical James Bond music is full of half tone steps ...
