Pandemic Interlude - Rachel Flowers by RachelFlowers published on 2020-06-29T04:06:10Z The 2020 pandemic hit me hard. It was difficult having to stay in the house for months, and for a time it felt like it would never end. Then I started using my time to compose music that would combine various genres that I've been exploring for quite a while. I've listened to a lot of J Dilla, D'Angelo, Robert Glasper, Jacob Collier, and Kendrick Lamar. The vocal choir was influenced by the music of Kirk Franklin. The lead synthesizer was influenced by George Duke and Stevie Wonder. As always, I did everything myself in my bedroom studio! I hope you like it!
