Why do I feel like I'm going to catch some words from people on this one???

Here's a Qdup Re-Rub version Blurred Lines. I did this when I first heard it back in May, before it really saw the huge attention that it garnered over the summer. I had no idea it would have been as big as it got and more did it for a bit of fun as I loved the beat and feel of the track and was pretty happy to have heard both Get Lucky and this track being a glimpse of funky & disco inspired music being played on the radio. There has been a lot of controversy over this track this year. People either seem to HATE or LOVE this track... From finger pointing of misogynistic lyrics, to a pre-emptive lawsuit against the threatening Marvin Gaye estate... It's probably because of the similarity to Marvin's tune that caught my ear on this and I wish there were more new songs that sounded like that, so it's pretty ridiculous to me that there would actually be a lawsuit in this day and age over that. I'm sorry, but you can't copyright a genre or style or half of the music ever made would infringe!

It's all just for a bit of fun and not to be taken too seriously.
