Purveyors Rob Watt Cape Town Purveyors was a Cape Town-based indie rock band fronted by Rob Watt—songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist—signed to Old Time Records. The band was recorded and produced by Luke Anderson, with Ian Reid and Andrew Burke on drums, and Nathan Giloi on second guitar. Active in 2008–2009, Purveyors played a string of local shows before disbanding as members pursued new paths. Before Purveyors, Rob Watt fronted UK rock band Jimmy Diehard (2004–2006), performing at top London venues including The Garage and Cannizaro Park Festival.
