Pash Bridges - A Guide To Italo-Trance by Pash Bridges [Revenge of the Synth]

Look, up in the sky! Is it italo? Dark disco? EBM? Synthwave? Electro? Trance? Nope, it's #ItaloTrance!

As far as I know, #ItaloTrance is not an actual genre name, although I've recently seen some artists/labels using #ItaloTrance tag to promote their releases. But, in a world where the boundaries between various electronic music genres are becoming less clear every year, where there's a "new" electronic music genre every couple of years or less (apparently, the progressive trance sound that I used to love and play in the clubs back in the day, is now being labeled as "melodic techno"?), I think that #ItaloTrance is something that we deserve and need.

This is the sound I've been really into for the last couple of years, probably because it represents a strange combination of my two greatest loves: trance & '80s synthesizer music. Even if not an actual genre name (yet!), #ItaloTrance is definitely a feeling!
