Sarah and Kelli provided historical lineage to hybrid one-on-one art making, drawing on the practice of seminal artists and past Proximity works, and James shared the history of Proximity and his thoughts on small, portable and tourable work. Artists had an opportunity to roam the PICA in its entirety, and explore a plethora of potential performance sites for their one-on-one interactions.
