Caught between an imminent financial meltdown and a rising oppressed world headed by Russia and China, the United States and its allies and stooges have launched their war against Iran in a desperate gamble aimed at reviving their fortunes and re-establishing their hegemony. But in the narrow and shallow waters of the Hormuz strait, the entire supertanker that is monopoly capitalism is being holed below the waterline, and no amount of bluster is going to be able to shore up the damage that has already been done.
