Imperialism's ultimate tactic is 'divide and rule'. The narratives of the imperialist media is to deflect blame off the economic mode towards the victims of imperialism.

If imperialist states bomb a country and plunder their wealth, the people will naturally follow the trail of stolen wealth back to the imperialist cores. To blame migrants who come to these countries for the problems created by imperialism is blaming the symptoms and not the actual causes.
