Fidel Castro 100: lessons for Cuba & Britain by Proletarian Radio

General secretary of the CPGB-ML Ranjeet Brar brings a message of Greeting from Havana, Cuba on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Fidel Castro. The people of Cuba continue to resist the genocidal blockade, in place continuously and illegally since the Cuban missile crisis of 1962!

Though Trump has tightened it and is attempting to starve and strangle the Cuban people - just as they are committing genocide with Britain and Israel in Palestine and across the middle east - their socialist system and resolve to remain independent, dignified and free makes them indomitable!

We must support our Cuban brothers and sisters and demand an end to the criminal blockade!

In Britain, as freedom of speech and political action is curtailed, we must fight the legal battle against the IHRA, that seeks to make all criticism of Britain’s genocidal and aggressive foreign policy illegal, and this allow British workers the freedom to prevent or “Labour” government driving our nation towards world war.
