008 - Monster Encounter by Project Bluelight

THIS one. oh boy.
it's surprisingly hard to make an Enemy Approaching replacement, this is the third real iteration of it, actually.
there were a LOT of 20 seg (max) attempts to get a melody that fits. because even if you get the rythm right, the instruments or melodies might throw it off.

until i realized- enemy approaching uses toby's motif, like, ONLY toby's motif.
so i just used mine and it fit right in first try LMAO

i find it so funny because, yeah, it's kinda obvious it's toby's dog motif. but, it literally is JUST that.
the first section uses the same rythm and just cuts it every other bar to give it a buildup rythm. then the last section it's JUST THE MIDDLE ONE AGAIN. how did i not realize that before?! i've been making this for almost 9 years!!!

also, this specific track was posted for the second devlog, but it was next in the soundtrack anyways! so it all worked out well heheheh.
no custom picture until the rest comes out, though. i'll edit it in after the first area fully releases.
