After eight years of releasing music on respected labels such as Last Night On Earth by Sasha, Siona Records by Miss Monique, Octopus Recordings, Einmusika and Black Hole Recordings, Ukrainian project Monastetiq launches his own label - GLUCOSE5.7. The label opens its catalog with "Playa Rider", a collaboration with Tokyo-based vocalist RHYME. Following the success of her single "Crush" with Yellow Claw, which was featured in the Hollywood film "Babygirl", RHYME reached out to Monastetiq in early 2025 with the idea of working together. Inspired by her travels and the track's debut performance at Burning Man, "Playa Rider" blends driving Indie Dance grooves with powerful, forward-moving energy. Built around a pulsing 1/8-note saw bass, melodic guitar licks, and hypnotic synths, the track creates a cinematic foundation for RHYME's distinctive storytelling vocals, which weave naturally through the arrangement, carrying emotion, movement, and esoteric poetry. Capturing the spirit of freedom, connection and adventure, "Playa Rider" marks the beginning of a new chapter for both artists while introducing the musical identity of GLUCOSE5.7
