The song STARBOY was written over a year ago, but in times of Covid-19 and quarantines the message seems to be more relevant than ever.
The Starboy is a lonely space cowboy. He longs for his home. The fuel is running out. An emergency call? Will he make it back to his beloved? The Starboy longs to get solid ground under his feet again.
Right now, people are longing to get back to their usual everyday life and freedom and to have solid ground under their feet again. We would like to know how long this state of emergency will last and whether the people and the economy have the strength to get through this difficult time unscathed.
However, the song Starboy does not let depressive feelings arise. The successful DJ and producer team Flava & Stevenson from Berne, in collaboration with Daniel Volpe, give the song a great lightness. A feel-good song to sing along, dance along and despite the challenging circumstances, enjoy life together.
Starboy was written by the internationally successful German songwriter Daniel Volpe (Paty Cantú, CALVO, Jermaine Jackson, Eliane, …) and the act daFOO from Aargau, who is also responsible for the vocals. The Grammy nominee Ben Muehlethaler (Craig David, Jennifer Paige, Jamie Lewis, Prince, Remady, Seven, …), with his mix and mastering, gave the final touch to Starboy that it can accompany us through this autumn and winter with a lot of happiness and ease.
