2.3 云也 (Yun Ye) by ProdYimeng_Z

Year 2 Creative Portfolio.
It is inspired by the white breath exhaled in winter and Takashi Yoshimatsu’s album White Landscapes, Op. 47a. The music has a metaphysical feeling as if wandering in a deep forest, surrounded by unpredictable elements and then gradually clearing up. The unusual melody expresses the complexity of the composer’s inner world, which is the meaning of the title.
Most of the instruments were recorded in the studio: flute by Siying Chen, piano by me and string quartet by Tiantong Wu, Can Cui (violin), Jinhe Huang (viola) and Gen Li (cello).
