Greg Clark - Making Cities Work by Primedia Broadcasting published on 2013-07-29T14:24:23Z Greg Clark is a leading expert and international authority on city and regional development. He is in South Africa conducting workshops in conjunction with the Economic Development Partnership focused on government, business and civil society organisations. This morning, Greg held a workshop and deliberations with Minister Trevor Manuel, several national planning commissioners and NPC staff, and EDP members, focusing amongst other things, on how to get from vision to action, particularly with regard to the economy, and the need for new forms of social dialogue. Another key area he will focus on will be on regional marketing and branding, looking at ways to put our region on the global economic map. Cape Town and the Western Cape tells its leisure tourism story very well, but perhaps less so its economic and business story. Genre Talk Radio
